AIRHAWK COMFORT SEATING SYSTEMS

AIRHAWK COMFORT SEATING SYSTEMS

If you want a seat that`s comfortable, buy an Airhawk Motorcycle Comfort Seating System. Once you've tried it you won`t ride without it.

The AIRHAWK Comfort Seating System is manufactured by the ROHO Group Inc. in the USA and applies expertise in medical applications to their seat overlay systems for Motorcyclists.

The AIRHAWK seat overlay system eliminates the discomfort, numbness and pain riders experience as a result of spending many hours on the road in the seated position.

The AIRHAWK system uses patented DRY FLOATATION® technology to perfectly match body shape and riding posture to relieve sensitive pressure points, providing a more comfortable ride. DRY FLOATATION is proven to promote blood flow, alleviate pressure sores and within the medical industry improves wheelchair comfort.

DRY FLOATATION technology uses interconnected air cells formed in a non-hardening neoprene model or a polyurethane model. By using this design, the seating system mimics the properties of water, evenly distributing the rider's weight across the cushioning surface and away from peak pressure areas that can create discomfort. The design also reduces vibration to the spine, another source of discomfort.

The AIRHAWK Comfort Seating System overlay is the first true seat overlay designed with motorcyclists in mind," says Tom Oleksy, president and CEO of The ROHO Group. "We at ROHO know first-hand how uncomfortable it can be to ride hours at a time. The AIRHAWK not only ensures the rider's comfort, it helps them focus on the road, ultimately making their journey safer."

The AIRHAWK Comfort Seating System is now available in two guises. The original Airhawk is made from a soft pliable non-hardening neoprene rubber whereas the Airhawk 2, is made from a polyurethane material.

What's the Difference?

The major difference is the material used for the inner cushion. The original AIRHAWK is made from neoprene rubber, while the AIRHAWK 2 is made out of polyurethane. There is a distinguishable difference between the two materials; the polyurethane is much lighter, thinner, and does not stretch as much as the neoprene rubber. The neoprene's stretchy material has a much more substantial and luxurious feel, especially at the end of a long day in the saddle. The neoprene cushion will also give you more 'feel'.

The AIRHAWK 2 is designed for the riders who need some help on those occasional long rides or about town riding. The performance is far superior to any gel/foam/synthetic sheepskin combo on the market. Pressure mapping and riding will instantly confirm this claim so if you do not want to invest in our original AIRHAWK, try the AIRHAWK 2 because it's still a supreme option compared to other products on the market.

Features include:

- Formed cells evenly distribute pressure from the weight of the rider, providing a longer, more comfortable ride.
- Breathable, durable outer cover - Stretchable nylon/lycra blend is water resistant and stylish.
- No more hot seat - Open mesh side panels allow air to circulate through individual air cells, creating extra ventilation to reduce heat build-up.
- Adjustable Air Control - Riders can easily adjust the amount of air in the AIRHAWK, allowing them to fine tune the seating system.
- Secure but portable design - Nylon, tie-down straps and a non-skid urethane base keep the AIRHAWK securely affixed to the motorcycle's saddle, while protecting the bike's original seat surface. The seat overlays are portable, so they can be used anywhere the user wants to sit more comfortably.

HOW DOES IT WORK

HOW DOES IT WORK

Inflating your Motorcycle seat cushion:

1. Inflate cushion by mouth (no pump needed!)

2. Insert cushion into cover (with non-slip base)

3. Place cushion onto seat, attach with straps supplied if need be

Simple! Inflate the Air Hawk seat by mouth. Slip it into the fabric cover and place on your bike seat. The non-skid base keeps it firmly in place, although you can attach it with straps or cord via loops in the cover. It's simple to adjust and the inter-connected air cells distribute the rider's weight evenly - far better than gel. An added bonus is that the air cells transmit heat less quickly than gel or foam. So they stay cooler in hot climates and warmer in cold ones. Ideally you need to have enough air in the cushion so that you are sitting about half an inch above the seat height so that you actually immerse your backside into the cushion. Too much air in the product will make you `roll` and defeat the objective of the product.
