Roof Helmets

The history of Roof begins back in the 1970's, when Claude Morin started working with composite materials. A motorcycle was built soley from these new composites and then further machines designed and built for Honda, which went on to win the Bol d'Or endurance races in both 1973 and 1974. Subsequently adapting material used in the aerospace industry, he developed a light and nearly indestructible composite for helmets. Since then, his company Motive has led the way in an imaginative helmet design and manufacture.
The Roof philosophy is to build the finest safety helmets in the world, using cutting edge medical research and material technologies gained in the aviation world. This knowledge, coupled with an innovative flair for design has put Roof at the forefront of many fundamental advances in helmet technology.
Winner of more design awards than any other manufacturer, Roof truly leads the way in helmet design and safety.
