Like all other Airhawk products the individual interconnected cells allow air to slowly transfer from chamber to chamber and evenly distribute body weight pressure. This technology has been used since 1973 by the medical industry to treat wheelchair users and patients who are confined in bed for long periods.
Therefore the adjustable air inflation and multiple cells provide a custom fit to your personal contour for every flight. The external cover with open mesh side panel allows air to circulate through the individual cells creating extra ventilation to reduce heat build up.
