About Techmount
High Gear Specialties is the company behind the Techmounts brand. Since 1995 they have been crafting specialty products for motorcycle and powersports enthusiasts because, well, they are enthusiasts too. They created the original Techmounts stem stand out of their own desire to have a beautiful, highly functional system for mounting accessories (OK, it was a radar detector) on their motorcycles.
They manufacture and assemble their products themselves using the highest quality materials and fasteners they can find, and their goal has always been to meet or surpass the quality of other OEM motorcycle components. They have evidently succeeded, as now manufacture exclusive product lines for some of the biggest motorcycle manufacturers in the world, and interest in their products is growing by leaps and bounds.
